ShebaSlot is a UI design concept for a medical appointment app built for the Bangladeshi healthcare context, where finding the right specialist and securing a “serial” (appointment slot) is often slow and uncertain. The goal was to design an experience that feels calm, trustworthy, and fast, so patients can go from discovery to booking in just a few taps.
The experience opens with a bold blue splash screen and a short onboarding screen (“Connecting You with Specialized Doctors”) that introduces the core promise and leads into a clear “Get Started” action.
From there, the app is organized around four main areas:
- Home: A personalized greeting, search with QR scan, a health tracker card (deep sleep, heart rate, walking steps with a weekly chart), and a doctor specialty grid with simple icons for Dermatologist, Oncologist, Nephrologist, Pediatrician, Urologist, and Cardiologist
- Doctor discovery: A recommendation list where each card shows specialty, hospital, rating, years of experience, patient count, and reviews, so users can compare doctors at a glance
- Doctor details and booking: A profile with biography, a “Make appointment” button with quick chat and call shortcuts, plus a horizontal date picker, available time slots, and a final confirmation screen with start and end time
- Appointments: A timeline of today’s and upcoming visits, each showing the doctor, visit type, date, time, patient, and location, with “See details” and quick actions
- Inbox and video consultation: A message list for doctor follow-ups and a clean video call screen with a visible timer and simple call controls
- Profile: Account information, insurance details, medical records, clinic info, and settings, with the health tracker repeated for quick access
The visual system stays consistent across all screens: a strong blue as the primary color, lime green for highlights and health metrics, rounded cards, generous spacing, and a floating black bottom navigation bar. Color, hierarchy, and repeated card patterns keep a data-heavy healthcare product easy to scan and low on stress.
